Fantasy Symbolism (Commission Work)
Commission Design for a client looking to have main symbols designed for his fantasy book series. Each symbol represents one of the races featured in his story. The client had concepts/storylines for each of the races, which I then translated into shapes featuring their main themes and purpose.
This project has really taught me that symbolism is one of the key aspects of my work as an artist, perfectly bringing together art and psychology.

The first undead symbol designs
The client chose the sixth version, which was then elaborated. The undead had the theme of 'corpses' and 'trees' and I designed the inside as a mix between a rib cage and tree branches.
